Snack cube squishy guide
How to make your snack bag template
This snack bag uses the approved six-panel 3D cube net: decorate the themed panels, score the dashed folds, and close the gray glue tabs to make a compact 60 mm paper squishy.
Get these ready
- *A4 printer paper or light card stock (90-120 gsm)
- *Child-safe scissors
- *A ruler and a blunt scoring tool, such as an empty pen cap
- *Clear tape or double-sided tape
- *A small amount of tissue paper or soft scrap paper for filling
What to put inside
Use a small amount of light tissue before closing the final face. Keep the cube lightly filled so the seams stay crisp.
What to stick with
Apply glue or short clear-tape pieces to the gray hatched tabs, then fold the neighboring panels into the cube.
- 1
Print at 100%
Print the A4 cut sheet without scaling and confirm that the six square faces are still 6 cm finished faces.
- 2
Cut the outer silhouette
Cut along the solid outline and keep every gray glue tab attached to the net.
- 3
Decorate the six panels
Add any extra chip, face, or seasoning details while the net is flat and easy to draw on.
- 4
Score the dashed folds
Use a ruler and blunt tool to score every dashed fold line, then pre-fold the panels and tabs.
- 5
Glue the cube net
Apply glue or tape to the gray hatched tabs and fold the surrounding panels into a closed cube.
- 6
Fill and close
Add a little light tissue through the last open face, then secure the remaining tabs and let the cube dry.
Print note: Print the A4 cut sheet at 100% scale. Keep the six 227 px faces and gray tabs at the original size.
Finish it: Keep the snack artwork facing outward and press each tab flat for a clean cube silhouette.
Use scissors with adult help when needed. Keep filling light and dry: do not use food, liquid, rice, beads, or anything heavy inside a paper squishy.
